Editions, sizes, and materials

Artist Prints are small unmatted images (paper size 11x14, image size approximately 7x10).

Gallery Prints are larger prints (image size approximately 12x17) matted and framed to 20x24 using museum-quality, archival materials.

Gallery Prints have an edition size limited to nine. My choice of this small edition size serves two purposes. First, it protects your purchase of artwork. Second, it encourages me to continue to work creatively, and not rest on a few popular images.

I do all of my own printing using archival pigment ink, heavy-weight Hahnemuhle Photo Rag 308 gms/m2 matte paper, and state-of-the-art inkjet printers. This technology has advanced to the point now where both the quality and the longevity of the prints equal or surpass prints made in the wet darkroom. That is why I have made the switch.
